Communities are trained and sensitized on early childhood development to enable them have an understanding that child development is a process in human development and a foundation upon which later development and learning is anchored. We build the community’s understanding on nurturing care framework focusing on good health, adequate nutrition, responsive care giving, opportunities for early learning and safety and security of children. Through this program, WICS works with communities to come up with early childhood education infrastructure and play grounds to facilitate early learning opportunities for children 3-6years.
