To enhance child development in communities, men’s involvement in child care is very important. Our tradition norms discourages men’s involvement in child care and those seen practicing it are termed as being under petticoat type of men. WICS is breaking this concept and attitude by sensitizing the communities on the benefits and impact of male involvement in child care. The males who actively participate in child care are identified as male champions. These male champions sensitize other men in their respective communities.
